Greetings –
Region 10 Director Marla Miller is reporting that some members in her region are receiving an email stating that AKA member Jerry Fincher is stuck in England and needs $2,500 to pay expenses and get home to the USA.
Marla reports that it is all one big scam. Jerry is, indeed, home in Washington and doesn’t need the money to get out of England. If you receive one of the hoax emails, please report it as spam.

Such emails should be forwarded to abuse@hotmail.com, presuming the email is coming from a Hotmail address.

Hey if you need to part with $2500 you can send it to me.
Another caution, sometimes emails like those have Trojan's inside. Best to just delete any email that you don't know the sender. Opening it to read may infect your machine.
Johns advise is correct report both to your email service as well as the email service the email came from.
