hello, people:
i just went to the theater and watched the Japanese Moive "Departures".
I enjoy the film and appreciate the issue being brought up with openness and sincerity.
It is nicely done, with the scenery, acting, music and the "air".
i won't tell the story here but it's a film worth savoring; even
the subject may not be casual for some, but it should not be a taboo either.
if you face life with open honesty, it's a film that you will enjoy and appreciate.
i checked it out on Amazon, it will be released in English sub i hope so more can see this nice little gem.
trust me, it's enjoyable and that's a good thing about this piece.

I saw this movie just a couple months ago...
It's now in my top three, easily.
No it's not an action flick, but it made me feel, a lot.

I couldn't agree with you more. I have watched it twice now and simply put, the movie is a work of art. By the way, I already bought it with English subtitles on Amazon
