That flip and unroll to launch, at roughly 2:15... OMG... Sick... Love the axel, tip drag, axel, tip drag, so sweet... Reverse up and over at 2:58... Wicked flying Watty, really nice job. :D

Got a new video up with my new kite ;)

In particular what grabbed my attention was the overhead axels. Excellent!

Watty ~
Great as usual! :clap2: Kudos to John Herner and Kevin MacLeod, for their work, as well!

Question: Appears you are flying in your school gym...
Do other classmates fly?
Do fellow students support your flying?
How does the school, including administration, feel about the sport?

Just wondering...

Love2Fly - The kite is set up with the Rev II Race Rods

Jynx - Actually, John Herner, one of my friends from school is beginning to fly them, and hopefully he will end up buying some, and I may even be able to take him with me to the Rev Clinic next year at Long Beach.
Most the people that see it after school, don't really seem too enthused. That may be because of how often I am there... but I'm not sure.
I've done some kite flying for a talent show, and in the half time show of a basket ball game for my school, but like the students, a lot of the teachers that see it every day don't seem to really notice it. Only a few ask questions.

Bravo Spence....
Really enjoyed it.
I just got a new indoor kite and I'm really looking forward to the inevitable rainy days to check it out.
What length and weight lines are you using? I made my self a set of 12' 90# lines.

ps. Thanks for answering Jynx's questions. I had been wondering these things as well. I hope your friend catches the Rev Bug as well! ;D

Ok, I'll give it up..... The kite was a special order for a rev II with the old sail pattern, both to match my rev indoor, and to keep the weight down, and it is made with the same material as the Rev Indoor. Baloo was kind enough to donate $75 for the kite, and it turned out great. From what I hear he might even end up buying the heavier prototype.

In that video I was using 8 ft 50lb line. The only reason I use 50 lb is because at the time when I made the line sets, I didn't really know anything about indoor flying, so I bought what ever the first indoor flyer there suggested. 12' should be fine. I flew this kite on my 20' the other day, and it gives a lot of room!
