Hey-o...

We're gearing up for one another massive team quad gathering at Dave Shenkman's Kite Party 5 in Huntington Beach! ;)

If you'd like to get in on the action, PLEASE review all of the information found at the URL below...

http://www.iquad.us/join.htm

If you're going to be there and can handle a quad, please post back here so we can add you to the list! If you're on the list and won't be able to make it, same thing, please let us know.

Let's blow this festival wide open with some quad goodness!

This thread is also going on Kitelife, along with a list of attendees, found here...

I was reminded that there is a 75' rule for lines at Kite Party.

After further consideration, IF I can get iQuad's long lines (120') cleared with the organizer... Due to the limited space, we'll be limiting the mega fly to capable Rev fliers. Indeed, there isn't a lot of room and we'll go out of our way to not cut into anyone else's fun.

Anyone who knows me will know how serious I am about keeping a balance for everyone.

Kites are fun, we'll do our part to keep it that way.

For all those quad fliers who are learning and want to join in on the action, come up to WSIKF later in the year and we'll give everyone a shot at joining in on the fun.

I happened to be working in San Diego when I heard about KP 5 at Huntington Beach and since I had just picked up my new Barresi Vented from the factory it seemd the obvious thing to do. I set up and flew in very nice conditions on a very nice warm beach near the pier. I-Quad was there doing their formations and wowing the crowd and other Rev flyers dotted the beach interacting with pedestrians and involving themselves in small group flying. What a wondeful thing it is to fly with other Rev fliers. I was allowed to fly in the mega fly (16 revs at once) and realized that I was mezmerized by the Knot that developes when 64 lines all twist together.( I was responsible for a firey crash and was told to not look at the Knot any longer. I had a wondeful time and look forward to WSIKF in Aug. Ty John & I-Quad, Ben and all the others involved in Kite Party. Steven

Do you think we can get 32 Revs at WSIKF?

Far as I know, the previous record is 31, in Japan.

Good plan Jim... Let's do it. ;)

Please, I encourage all of you... In discussion with friends, chats on the field, etc... Let people know, we've got a worthy goal!

Why limit it to only 32 John? I'll be practicing for sure and have already made my reservations for WSIKF. See ya there and spread the word!

John,

What are the dates for WISKF this year. I am not sure if we can, but it might be fun for us to try to make it!

Thanks,

Mark

August 20-25... Best days are Thu/Fri/Sat. ;)

Sunday is a dead day, activity-wise.

It'd be awesome to have you... I'll cross my fingers, for everything.
