Solar backpacks!

OK, this is a shameless plug for my brothers company, www.eclipsesolargear.com. He patented a solar backpack, and messenger bag, camera bag, bike bag, tackle box (which is going to become my new kite repair kit), and a solar generator (large solar panel that tracks the sun and charges a large battery, that has an AC inverter and can power AC and DC loads.

I have a couple of these backpacks and keep them with me on the kite field to keep my phone and mp3 player charged. Works really well.

We have a 12v Ice Chest that plugs into a cigarette lighter.

I have always thought it would be fun to have an ice chest covered with solar cells that you would put out in the sun to make it cold. :wacko:

We have them and think they're a Great idea too! Know costs will come down only so much as production ramps up, but a brilliant idea!
