The only exception is the eyes, which ALSO incorporates the use of paint along with the appliqué.
"We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails."
(found in a fortune cookie - possibly an Einstein quote)

Heres a quick break down on how the "eyes" were made.
Stay up for several nights tryingto work out how the hell you are going to getthe Rev logo into your design!!
Make a full size template in black and white. Marking on the cloth registration marks in the same way as you would if screen printing.
Take a white piece of fabric and draw out the deisgn and reg marks.
Put a coloured piece of fabric over the template and spray the areas as required. Don't forget to mark the reg marks!!!!
Glue coloured/sprayed sheet to white aligning the reg marks perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glue black on top.
Turn upside down and sew from the white side.
Cut away what you don't want.
Don't make mistakes and drink lots of coffee. A sprinkling of magic dust also helps and a frontal labotomy can be required  .
Hope this helps,
