Our mega team curriculum is a bit undeveloped at this point to be frank... It's a team clinic first, with mega team content.

Remember, as for Rev teams in North America, iQuad is the first one to prolific since High Performance in the early 90s, as opposed to Europe which has had several veteran teams for a number of years... Up until now, we've been busy building the flier base, we're just now reaching a point where we have a large stable of solid team fliers.

My main interest is to solidify the etiquette (LE down, no "freewheeling" in the sky while getting a team ready, relative silence on the line, etc)... Other than that, its pretty wide open and mainly comes down to essential team skills in large and small groups.

Myself, I'll be using it as an opportunity to teach three selected pilots captaining skills, and so I can learn and develop grid maneuvers... I understand the grid formula, but haven't had an opportunity to put it in into practice and learn transitions with a stable group as a caller yet.

For the grid at this clinic, looks like we'll have five columns of four, or four columns of five.

Sounds good. Thinking ahead, if we ever get there, 4 teams of 25 working in parallel might well need a local leader <grins>

YAY for me!

I'll stock up on migraine medicine now. :D

Actually, since we added Bazzer, some of the fliers here actually respond to a British accent...

Before, we discouraged it altogether. <grin>

12 more days. Time is still creeping by. But we're getting there. Slowly but surely.

 Was it something I said? :P Sorry

Just 8 more days. Breathe, we can all hold out for 8 more days. Can't we?

I'm dreaming in stereo now. I keep hearing voices in my sleep. "Wait for me Dean!!!", "GET BACK ON LINE DEAN!!!"
"No, your other left."
And I'm thinking, "Aren't I the right most pilot on the line?" Mutany and I haven't even started.
This wait really is killing me. Now I'm starting to hear it in my sleep. Now maybe I know what that Dean's Hole was all about. JK

I could use some instructions on how to get there. A street address I can put into my GPS would be great. I'm just a dumb kid from Germany ya know? and get easily confused in the New World. I once got lost in Portland trying to find a car dealership that was two blocks away from I-5. Took me a whole hour to get there... So if you want me to fly kites with you next week I will need some help. I'd hate to get there Monday morning when all the fun is over
Also, what time do we start on Friday???????????
Danke schön!

You will find location, and weather information, and a google map there.

I will be there by 10am every day, if not earlier

How far is it from Bazzers house to the Hinge? I want to be down on the field by 7:30 at the latest. Course I'm dreaming if I think thats possible. Unless he's within walking distance that is.

Ya know what would be really cool is if we could just camp around the edges of the Hinge so you could literally wake and fly and go to bed when your done. :) That would be just too cool.

Great idea. I got a tent for two, stove... the whole nine yards. Bazzer could fry up some bangers and eggs before he comes and feed us all. Of course we would be so stiff after a night of sleeping on the ground that we could not move 'till 2 in the afternoon :kid_frustrated:
