Just now there is almost a full page of 'pinned' discussion threads on the Open Topic page. Is there a process for 'unpinning' or expiring such that they remain searchable, yet do not render on the first page of the topic discussions?

The pinning and unpinning of the articles are done by admins of the board. I have been meaning to ask JB about doing a bit of housecleaning, especially on the open topic board. I think he would agree that there is some low hanging fruit that could be plucked.
