Hi All,

Well Christmas is nearly upon us, soon to be followed by New Year.  That can mean only one thing.... it's nearly time for the San Diego Kite Club New Years day fly.

We all meet at Mariners Point each year, where they have a PA system, pot luck and fun.

This year we intend to put together a Rev mega fly.  Already we have 6 to 8 people that have said they will be there and interested, but we would like to start to get a better idea of who is coming.

The guidelines we will be using will be the same as we used for the San Ramon fly and as have now been put in writing by iQuad at: http://www.iquad.us/join.htm

If you are interested in taking part and feel you match the criteria, then let us know by adding your name below.

So far we have for sure:

- Mark Lummas
- Jeanette Lummas
- Ron Despojado
- Susan Shampo
- Jim Foster
- Lynn Foster
- Ben (from Rev)
- John Mitchell ??

Hope to see you there.
Thanks,

Mark.

I think $600 is great value don't you for a fun day out!!  Last mega fly we did here we had Stephen & Susan from the UK flying Squad and John Mitchell from Germany.  So I would have thought coming from the US would be a breeze.

Ok, well maybe they didn't fly in specially for it, but it sounded good!!

Sorry you won't be here David.  It would have been great to fly with you.  Have a great Christmas and New Year wherever you may be.

Thanks,

Mark.

We could fly a "virtual" team with you!

We would come over again, but every time we fly 8000 miles to come and fly in California, there is no wind!

Have a great time, we'll be thinking of you.

Lynn and Jim Foster added to the list and a tentative John Mitchell.  So that makes 7 so far.

Lolly has said she hopes to be there but will let us know.

See ya soon.

Don't have a webcam, but do hope someone will have a camera or video recorder to capture some footage.

See ya.

Mark.
