First post on the forum, just got to say what a great site with loads of great info.
Sorry if this question has been asked before but a few of us are getting together to do some team flying, the question is what is the preferred kite for team flying, rev 1 or rev 1.5
Thanks for any advice
Dave.

Hi Dave,
I would recommend the 1.5 (full sail, vented, whatever the wind dictates) on 120' lines... it's a great kite for team flying and with 120' lines you have a lot more window to play with. Let us know how it goes... I'm just getting into team flying here too.

The other factor, the Rev 1 has so much sail, it can get to be a bit much for team flying in bigger winds... Especially in the hands of "non-pro" fliers.
All in all, a vented 1.5 in it's right wind is the best, hands down.

Probably.....
Seriously though, go with whatever you have. Each kite has it's own forte. I have yet to see a team in the UK use the speed series kites though. That would be something to see.
If you need any tips on how to get started, let me know. Woody is also a very good team flier but far too modest to mention it. There is a strong rev team scene in Europe so get in there and have a go.
p.s. don't tell everyone how much fun it is, we're trying to make it look difficult!

I have never done a team fly thing... but I have flown the 1.5 and 1... and I think the 1.5 would be best for this because it is just easier to control so there would be a smaller chance of collisions.
