Just realized I hadn't made a separate post for this, so here it is.

We've added a blog function to the Rev forum, which any registered member is welcome to use.

Also, on the tool bar you'll now see My Blog, which takes you right to your own.

I've found it incredibly easy to use, and you can even change the layout by dragging sections around the screen, or add special content blocks, as well as the normal blog entries.

FYI, with regard to putting photos in your blog entries...

Two ideal ways to go:

1. Actually attach the image to the post, using the same attachment system we use for forum posts, found below where you'd enter the blog entry content.

2. If it's an image already in your Rev gallery on this site, there is ready to use "BB Code" on the right side of each gallery photo's page, right below the image description... Looks like this:

[URL=http://www.revkites.com/forum/index.php?autocom=gallery&req=si&img=2594][IMG]http://revkites.com/forum/uploads/1227453936/gallery_208_239_2207862.jpg[/IMG][/URL]

Shows on the actual blog entry or post like this:



Example of the BB Code above was found on jimfielder's related photo page.

Click here for that page, and to see where the BB Code is located.

This will ensure that images don't stretch the page unecessarily, and that they load easily for everyone.
