Nice one John.
I think the calender will be a great asset to the forum. I looked there a while back, found nothing and just assumed it was a facility you hadn't got round to activating, I figured, maybe you had thought activating it would have meant something else for you to maintain. But I have no doubt we will find it invaluable when we start to get into the 2009 festival season.

Bottom R/H corner "Add Event"I cannot figure out a way to get a list of events and attendees simply summarised.
I appreciate that birthdays may have a place <grins> but there may be more important axes to grind.
Maybe it has to happen somewhere else!

Felix, are you saying the calendar won't let you post without a list of attendees?
You should just be able to add the event information, and edit as you go along, with attendee information in the description.
FYI, Invision is uploading a fresh set of files for the forum today or tomorrow, should iron out the lingering errors.

I see, true... No way to string events.
Quick solution, keep a log of links to event entries on your blog.
Track the attendees either per event (description), or with the dates on the blog itself.
Truly, the calendar wasn't designed for meeting/appointment organization, which is more or less what we're talking about.
