Must of just missed you guys. We left around 1 o'clock just as the wind was dialing in. Light winds first thing. It seems like the best winds at the "Henge" are from 12 onwards.Today Glenn and I spent our Thanksgiving at Chambers (Kite Henge as we now call it
). We even broke out our vented B's as the winds were constant and at about 15 - 20 mph. We stayed long enough to also have a bit of night flying time as there are no daylight hour restrictions and little light polution (bring a flashlight). We hope that everyone had as great of a Thanksgiving Day as we did.
Sincerely,
Sarah

Give me a call. I'm sure I can sneak out for a while. My boss is a push over!Sorry we missed you Bazzer. Traffic was exceptional - even for the commuter lane. I plan to be out there again tomorrow, hopefully I'll see you and Kim there.
Best regards,
Sarah

Time to dig up this old thread and start getting connected for some flying at our local hotspot... I have seen it refered to as Chambers Creek and Chamber's bay..
I usually check a few sources when deciding to go out or not...
Weather links:
Chambers Golf Course hourly forecast (Thanks Walt!)
Wunderground - Gig Harbor
Sailflow - Use Wallochet
Windalert
Last year I normally went out in the evening after work anytime it was not raining and wind is over 5mph on these sites...

Wind was 8-12 most of the day some gusts to around 15/16. Flew the mid most of the day, wind dropped down a bit around 2pm and I pulled the full sail back out.
There were 4 other rev fliers that came in around 2pm.
Hope everyone else got the chance to fly something today!
