Well, I was going to rig something up with a Rev on dogstake, picking up the ring box and delivering it to my hand, with her standing next to me... That, or putting it up on a really nice delta kite and having her reel it in for me... However, with an average of 0-3 mph all weekend, that idea got tanked pretty fast.
Instead, I was trying to get us onto the ferris wheel near our Tokyo flying field (called Kasai), so I could propose as we went over the top, but they'd closed before we arrived.
The ferris wheel is HUGE, seriously maybe 500 feet tall, helluva view over Tokyo, all lit up in rotating and changing colors/patterns, truly gorgeous... There's a pretty little Koi (carp) pond close by it, and standing on the bridge/path that crosses over the pond, you can see the entire ferris wheel reflected, right below (by perspective) the wheel itself, SO beautiful.
So, right there, the right spot... I expressed my sentiments, my experiences with TK since we met, and the effect she's had on me (the details of which I'll spare you)... Dropped to knee, and did the deed.
She didn't hesitate for a second, so it must have been alright. <grin>
For those who don't know... TK and I first met at Kasai, so it's a "full circle" deal.
