Ben had a Pro with him today. It is really built nice!
Here is a picture of it flying front of what I believe is the Mexican fan palm.

My heart is taken by this kite. I must add one to my collection someday...but for now is there any video of this kite yet? I would love to see video of it flying.

BRIAN...

Good point Brian.
Icarex like all ripstops whether nylon or polyester will run slightly if put away wet ...and left that way!
If stored dry you will not have problems.
Poor quality threads will also run. Especially colors. Thats why most kites are made in black or white threads. These can be bought in UV stable. Colours are rare in UV stable.
Most of the colour run problems I have seen have come from people not looking after their gear very well.
We would all love to blame the manufactures...but take a red shirt and a white shirt..get them soaking wet and close them in a bag for three weeks or a year.
Do you have the right to complain about colour run?
This isn't of course always possible if you fly a Peter Lynn octopus or mega flag. But we are talking Revs here.

So fly em'
Clean em'
put em' away dry.
Best advice that I can give.
Look after your gear.

Some of the coloured bridle lines aren't colour fast.
I had an early Prism Elixir that I few one foggy day and put away slightly damp.
The next time I took it out, the red and yellow bridles had bled all over the sail; looking like worms on Acid. :pinch:
I've had no issues with the grey bridle line on my current B-Series.

Actually I think it was Pink and Rose, he wanted a girlish theme! :kid_devlish:

He said he was going to let his wife pick the colors so they would be sure to be correct!

She doesn't fly that I know of. She just buys the kites to get him out of the house!

And so you should be - Good grief the way you flew in our pairs competition the other day, stopping short of the required point on the middle leg of the slide, I am surprised you have the nerve to show your face on these hallowed pages. And you were wearing women's boots, even Mr Ant would not have been seen in them. AND you were flying that kite with the little pink ribbon embellishments.

Honestly, I was so embarrassed ;)

Ahhhh, so what you're saying is Jonesey is the Brit equivalent of our beloved Antman. Now I get it!!!
Make no mistake about it though, Antman would definitely be seen in those boots and those pink ribbon embellishments????? They were a gift to Antman from our very own Brad!!!!

I know.... I was just nervous flying in such exalted company, and I promise not to buy anymore Jimmy Choo sailing boots if you'll just give me one more chance .....
