It wasn't my idea for the reversed center panel. No complaints on my part as I love my B. I'll fly it the way it's ment to be flown. Flying at Lincoln City October 11th if the wind is strait off the ocean the spectators will know who makes the kite they love to watch fly. If I can get a little better with it. It's a bit different flying reverse than my Rev 1.

Dean

Yep! You pulled a good one on me with that REV!

It wasn't my idea for the reversed center panel.

So how did it come to happen? Just a QC issue or was it intentional by someone?

Not like it's ever going to happen, but I think they should produce all B series std. with those white vertical panels instead of the gray ones. Looks muuuuuuch better that way; matches the center panel and all.

I wish I could get a black/gold B series without any vertical panels at all, but that's my weird preference. :)

I think the idea of the gray panels is to make it look very similar to the vented version,

Try contacting Ben or Lolly for a special order. As I hear, anything reasonable and legal is possible to make. The question back would be whether the price fits your budget. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Hello family,

Lolly here. Just got to catchup on the forum and see Deans pic.
Dean- We think you may have built it backwards. The bridle just needs to go around the front (logo) side of the sail. No untying of the bridle. To double check-
the Bottom Tip Triangle tabs go on the back of the sail.
(Let me look at your picture again.)

We have put a kite together this way when we are flying up against a boardwalk, ect.
Spectators can see the name. Pictures taken from the back are right.
We appreciate your help with the advertising/ marketing of the Rev name. :blue_wink:

The White Vertical panels change the way the sail is layed up. This may be where we are getting confused. We like the vertical panels being the grey for a few reasons.

A JB with no vertical panels is totally possible.

Dean, we will make this right if it was sewn wrong. No problem !!

I'll get back to you.

Thanks Dean for your attitude.
That's why I love kite people !

Seems that Custom kites are getting the best of me lately.

Your new customs to match sound really cool.
Would love to make those - with a more watchful eye.

Thanks everyone.

Hey Dean, two major points

1) very rare kite - I'd keep it for soo many cool reasons.

2) You got 2 replies from Dear Lolly, even more reason to keep the kite.

Hijacked thread,

Lolly,
When I look real close at both pictures, the only thing I detect that is unusual is that the logo panel was sewn on in reverse.
Otherwise it looks perfect to me.
Seems Dean has got himself a collectors piece.

I think the kite is perfect. So the logo is not on it's normal side. It's a one of a kind. So as far as I'm conserned Lolly theres nothing to make right. It's perfect. When I get the money to get the other two maybe you could put the center panel in reversed. That way they are all the same but different. ;) Thank you Lolly, I hope your the one charged with creating the Rev's I order. I'm sure they'll all be customs.

Dean

P.S. Will you be in Lincoln City, October 11th Lolly? I'd like you to autogragh Benny. (Thats the name of my baby) Maybe in orange on the center panel.

Lolly,

You having trouble understanding which side is which on Dean's kite sure makes me feel a little better about my previous posts. Actually, I don't think Dean would part with the kite for any money ... he's having too much fun pulling all of our chains ... and, I don't blame him, I'd do it too!

Thanks,
Tom

And I was in such a hurry to get it in mail to Dean, that I never pulled it out of the bag.

I sure thought about it.

Thought about taking a picture for the custom folder.

But nope, thought it better to get it shipped off to Dean ASAP as I knew how anxiously he was waiting.

So when I saw the picture......I thought OMG!

Glad you are happy with your very special one-of-a-kind special Beaver colors B. (B for Barresi ya know, not B for Beavers!!!) LOL! :)

Have fun flying!!!

Let me know when you're ready for the rest of the 'set' :)

I am sure Dean would be only too happy to send you a picture T.

I would be as pleased as he is with a special special.

But then I am happy with ALL my Revs anyway.

Most of them are special cuz you helped me get them.
