Actually now you mention Elton John,..., the glasses,.., the little beard he sports these days,.., the follicles and height enhancing shoes. Strange taste in hats

Just so those who have asked to raid my store cupboard can go to bed all excited, I will be coming armed with a purple kite bag for Hippy Chippy and pair of 'long' handles for choccy.

Sadly the Revs look to stay in the bag this weekend on the northeast coast of the USA due to lots and lots of rain.

C'mon you never heard of Gor Tex, Just got back from flying in absolute monsoon rain conditions 20mph sustained 35-40mph gusts in SE Massachuetts with the Vented Super Sonic.

Totally great time super high winds where the super sonic shines :kid_smartass:

Like our friends over the pond say "no such thing as poor conditions, just poor choice in clothing"

Work has reared its ugly head and I've got to be in Banbury (Oxfordshire) for 12.

I'll try to get down to the bay before you disappear!

If not, Solent Kite Flyers have something going on there on Sunday that I'm hoping to get to...

No problems getting it up - It's using it properly that's the problem!

yeah you know you want too Bri .... Actually just to really shoot myself in the foot it appears our latest resident just down the beach where I usually fly at Hill Head is non other then Gary Glitter ... saw him driving a Red Mustang the other day past all the 'Glitter Out' banners.....

Oh and sorry for knocking you hat off Choccy !

We just got back ourselves after a good session of flying with some wind (yay)
which was more than we anticipated with the foggy start :kid_content:

although at one point the wind was light enough for the event to turn into a power kite zone including stacks. :rolleyes:

Good to meet up again new faces too

Warp> no worries about the wang with your lines :lol:

One of the funny moments was seeing Jonesey flying his Jolly green Giant 2~4 power on short lines :w00t:

Cheers to Sailor for my (long) handles. :blue_wink:

I did have Jonesey offer a set too, and thought it would be fun to have one handle from each... but.... well Sailor insisted!

and my new violet "Evo" mid-vent was a surprise and much admired :blush:

Thanks for organising it Jonesey.... lovely day by the sea.

Great day everybody..... Wouldn't England be a nice place to live if it was like that everyday!

Just did a run through and am pleased to say we got 15 people on the handles at some point today.... nice work everyone :clap;

- I eventually got home from work @ 21:15 so at least I didn't just have the best bit of the day ruined & actually earned a reasonable amount to make up for missing out... :kid_cussing:
