While on our European trip I went to all the teams and then had them sign it then I went to the folks who were
just plain special To me and then asked them to also sign the kite. Well Family this is a real part of kiting history
with all the major players on board for a once in a lifetime event and here's your chance to be a part of this event
and to do something for the AKA also as a bonus. Also as a added bonus this kite was mine that I flew this year
and as such was the very first kite of the 250 made so here we go even more kite mojo....... Ben

Ben,
Those look like Martin Lesters creations that we saw in Bristol. What's the deal with them?

I was so chuffed when you asked me to put my name on it Ben, when I look at some of the other names that are there, then see my silly Baloo thing.

Hope it gets a good reception at the Auction.

Good lord! It even has Jonesey's signature on. I didn't realise he made it to Portsmouth in time to sign it.

What a awesome kite - whoever gets it should loan it out to all the kite museums through the world. Truely a piece of Rev and Kite history. Nice one Ben

So what's the monthly payment with all the late charges ??? LOL

I don't know how much but I'm willing to bet it does okay and is not I'll buy it back myself cause this really is a one
of a kind kite and I doubt anything like this will happen for a few and theres even some folks who signed this kite
that you'd never expect.....Ben :blue-cool: :blue-cool:

I think you have to be at the AKA Nationals in Gettysburg this week to bid on it. ;)

At past auctions, 'proxy' bid have been allowed. I'm sure they will be this year too :)

How exactly does that proxy bidding work? That is if you know of course.

You just have to have someone there bid on it for you that's how the last one was done at last years
convention and it worked out perfect.......Ben :blue-cool: :blue-cool:

Oh yeah those are Martin Lesters Masterpieces that I'm using for a backdrop, there are 4 of these kites going to be
for sale and they are veryyyyyyy nice for sure, as of this writing I've been pretty busy so have not posted the photos
or write up about Martin but if you want in I'd say call the office and put your name on one the price will be $700
but they are veryyyy nice and the work is unreal.......Ben

As another idea, why not find someone who is going and phone them at the auction !!!

This worked very well at Bristol, think it was a one off, Fury 85 from Carl Robertshaw. Phone bidder missed out when it got up to around the $600 mark - Sold to one of the CR sponsored flyers Robin Smith.
