Well as I gear up for another event I'm pretty happy I got to take a breath and be home for a few days....
I'll tell ya this
kite nomad lifestyle has been getting pretty hectic this year and my foot has been giving me fits..... I'm trying to put off the operation
but it's looking as if it's going to have to happen.....So lets see Ben / operation / no kite flying / hmmmmm this can't be
good........ Well I guess we will have to see how this all shakes out...... Anyway for now I'm off to Antelope Island Utah for the
"Antelope Island Ballon and Kite Stampede" on Sept. 4th thru the 6th and I got to say it's shaping up to be lots of fun.....Ben
Won't help much with the kite flying, brother, but after the operation get yourself a knee walker (if the doctor approves)...beats hell out of crutches and keeps you out of a wheelchair. And it's kinda fun, too. (get the steerable kind)
When we gonna see you out east here next, amigo?

Well I'm back from Utah and yes it was fun, as a matter of fact I have some new team members for iQuad just need to show you
how these guys fly......
Ben,
It was an absolute pleasure having you here in Utah, and I humbly thank you for coming and helping support our balloon and kite festival. I've already had the quad out for a few hours, and needless to say, the dark side is every bit as cool and amazing as you said it would be.
Was great to meet your acquaintance, and I eagerly look forward to our next meeting and flying with you again.
Cheers bro.

a face and hand shake to Mr. Troy Gunn.... Troy has put the miles in as well as the sweat that makes this sport part of what it is
today, he has worked all over the world to promote kiting and from what I hear is a pretty good flier in his own right....
bring out your dancing shoes cause it's going to be shoulder shoulder for some iQuad flying.....
friend looking forward to flying with you on the 19th and 20th and I figure we will both learn a bit and have a heck of a time.. So
any and all come out and fly with us and enjoy the day....... Ben
