Hi,
Check out my photos from Sunday flying at Treasure Island
in Florida. There wasn't anything special going on just friends getting
together to do what they love doing. This was my first time out
flying since Wildwood, ( May) and boy did have I missing
hanging and flying with my friends! We had a great flying on Sunday.

For the first time I can say the women REV flyers
out numbered the men! We had 4 women , 3 men! It was great day on the beach.
You have to love a sky full of REV's! We had good food, great tunes, and lots of
REV flying all day! I didn't want the day to end.

Cheryl I have to say you rocked the sky! WOW! You have come a long way fast!
It was fun flying with you again Star !

It was nice to flying with Jay, Bob, Cheryl ,Star, Lynda & Bob #2

Ahh.....the baby revs: A short story.

It seems that no matter how big our beach is, or hard we try to park our kites out of everyone's way, there are always a few people who seem to want to walk right through our kite lines. Rather than see someone trip, get hurt or cause damage to our babies as they rest on the beach (they get pretty tired from the workouts we give them), Cheryl, Jay and I decided we needed a way to let people know that the lines were there (without having to say Please watch the kite lines to everyone). After all we didn't want to make that saying a TI version of "Watch the Tram Car Please". So one weekend Cheryl And I put our heads together, went to work and VIOLA, 24 baby revs were born. This solution has worked like a charm, and they're cute too. Here's some more pics................

People are weird no matter where you fly seems they are so clueless and are attracted to kite lines like moths to a light bulb.

Most lately seem to think that they own where they walk so I'm required to move for them when normally the path they are headed is shorter around where i happen to be.

It's par for the course, but to me the best ones are the people who will walk right into the flying field and lay out a blanket right in the middle regardless of the close call dive stops and hair cutting line swooshes.

Stupid is as Stupid does, never a better phrase spoken.

In the future if you would like to make me a set of those for a contribution I would love to buy a set for outings and gatherings. just a thought

The mini revs are a great idea. Necessity is the mother of all inventions! Since sewing is not my forte, if you're interested in doing a couple sets, please let me know. It's an investment worth plenty; especially as stated before, when people will "plop" down right under your lines....sometimes while the rev is parked.. lol ...well you know what I mean...

I have to say I about fell over when I saw the min REVs that Bob & Cheryl made!
They are sooo cool! They did an outstanding job!!!!!!!!! And on top of that they are

oh I have to Agree the Mini Revs are the Coolest thing in Person..
Personally I Like the Gold ones the Best!!!


It has Stopped about 95% of the "Line snachers"..
But there are always those "Special People" that still Stroll Right through..

That laying a blanket down thing sounds very much like a Brenton Point problem...HEHEHEHEH!

I too would be willing to make a contribution to get a set of those mini Revs. VERY VERY VERY COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please come on out, In fact anyone who would like to join us is more than .
It would be our pleasure to help anyone learn how to fly.

Don't worry about your skill level as we have everything from beginners (less than 20 flights) to an expert (old man Jay) on the beach and everyone has a great time. Its always about having fun...... more people = more fun. We are always at the same spot on Treasure Island, just south of the south walkway bridge to the beach from the free parking lot. Just look for the burgandy easy-ups and the blue and green Rev banner (oh, and the baby revs).

Just google The Windjammer Hotel in TI to get directions as the parking lot is on the south end of the hotel. Just PM me so we can exchange cells and feel free to call anytime to find out whats going on......
