Felix, just a thought, many of the European teams use headsets which seems to work quite well, even if we cannot get enough for everyone we may only need to get enough for the team leaders to pass on the calls to the rest of their team.
So, if you have a headset, bring it with you.
We do not have any such kit!

One thing that I have just remembered: when the calls did get passed down, by the time we 'lefties' heard them, you had already shouted go. The sequence was something like this:
(time runs from left to right)
................. Stephen: Ball.................Go!..................Slow Burst.................Go!..............Slow reverse
..... Flyers by Stephen:........................Form Ball.........................................Slow Burst.................
..4th person to the left:........Ball..................Go!................Slow Burst...................Go!.................Slow reverse.....
..8th person to the left:...................Ball!................Go!..............Slow Burst......................Go!..............Slow reverse
What we do on the end:...........................................Form Ball...........................................Slow Burst......Panic...
It would be even worse with more chain of command....
if we have messages passed down the line (either by shouting or by electronic means), I think we need a bit more than the usual gap between command and go! We also perhaps need some sort of trigger for us all to go! at the same time. Anyone got some fireworks
Either that or you're just going to have to shout even louder Stephen!!

An interesting observation and of course it gets worse the further down the line you are.
Wait, I have an idea........The only solution is for everyone to memorise the program.
Joking aside this is yet another challenge to overcome but things have a way of working out. In addition to the problems of delay (assuming the call is passed on at all) is getting people accustomed to the style of call. I know of at least 5 teams who use completely different techniques so that should be fun and of course the fliers who normaly fly solo may not be used to calls at all.....ball........wait for it........GO!
Just another reason for everyone to come and play earlier in the day so we can play with these things earlier in the day. See you on field.

My apolygies if the music is not quite in sync added it after, all I got on the day was wind noise,
my pc doesn't like the end of daydream and keeps cutting it.
after watching them must get a tripod.

We should be thinking about the agenda for the designated Rev field at both events. I have 'muttered' previously about an early rehearsal and would appreciate feedback. As I have said elsewhere this will need to relate to the agenda of the main arenas which we should know about soon.
Thanks
(I think that I am repeating myself but will not apologise...)
