Just received a new Rev, a B-Series. First thing out of the package I noticed the bridle line is a light gray, almost white color. I had read that the bridle had changed from black and red to all black I thought. I also noted that it was black on the DVD. The diameter of the bridle line seems thicker as well. Is this a new bridle material, an anomaly, or something else? I already own several types of Rev 1.5's and a Supersonic.

My first two Bs had blue. Latest ones have grey. I think it is just a supply chain thing to be honest, but that is only an uninformed guess. You will be pleased to hear they fly the same anyway.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to flying it this weekend. I just realized I don't have a set of quad sticks for this kite. I'm not sure if I remember how to fly without them. I used to be able to run down to the local kite shop to get them, High Flyer Kite in Newport, but they've been closed for almost two years now.

Welcome Chuck,i asked the question a while ago and its as Sailors said.Whats available at that time.I do like the blue on blue and black on darker kites though.

Lynn and I recently got four of the three star Patriotic 1.5 series. The bridles all have red across and gray up and down.

Why four you ask?

Chuck, come down to Brenton Point either Saturday or Sunday we will be flying there both days and we can hook you up with a source to get a set.

Supply chain, right on the money.

The first B's came with black bridles (my preference), but that material has become harder / more expensive to obtain in quantity.

OK that is absolutely the cats meow, I'm truly jealous and even more determined to have this done now.

See I wanted to send mine into Rev and have them do that to mine but I was told I'd have to have a new kite made up was that done at the factory or is it a home job ? Wait your a great kite maker I think I already know the answer
