How about a Rubik Cube or similar puzzles like Mefferts Megaminx, Tetramix or Skewb. :kid_content:

I thought about doing that actually! I don't want to ruin my vintage "cubes" tho. :? Never saw the Megamix before, that's cooool!

Kiteslinger,

Would you mind sharing where you found the revolver cyclinders? You've got two in the middle of your picture.

Cheers,
Tom

I drilled two holes in one snooker ball and put two,10inch stainless in the holes. They formed a Vee,getting wider apart as they reached the sharp end. They work great in dry sand.Much better than single spike that can come free quite easy in sand.

The best bit about snooker is when one tries to play it like one would pool - e.g. whack the white ball as hard as you can into anything else (e.g. other players, the wall etc.) - this makes the 'pros' really grumpy, which is a whole extra sport in itself!

Snooker - isn't that one of those working classes games like darts?

(sorry - got carried away having been called John Cleese earlier today).

Real nice stanless steel, and a very long taper, not just at the end.
