Come on Carolyn.. you can never pay Mac too much... I know I just updated my FinalCut Pro for 4 'b's (new universal currency we can all understand!) ... just to do video's of Kites and kids! .... plus we are a 4 macs and seven iPod's household and I wouldnt have it any other way (dont tell my clients that though )

I love my Mac and all that I can do with it, don't get me wrong, but their products are ridiculously expensive and new products are often released before they're ready for public consumption. In the case of their ipods and all the accessories that go along with them, I'm just not convinced it's worth it tho.

I haven't listened to music while exercising (or flying) outdoors for more than 4 years now. I was out walking a familiar fitness-walking trail awhile back, close to home (nice neighborhood), with my iPod shuffle playing, when I got mugged! Never heard them coming.... Punk kids

Lately, I find that I'm dying to listen to some music while I fly, but I refuse to occupy both ears with headphones.
I think I stumbled upon the solution this morning: mono. Not the disease I need to purchase a player that will mix stereo output into one headphone, so I can keep my other ear free to listen to my surroundings.


Could I ask a favor of the Rev community? Could folks please check their players and let me know if there is a mono setting available?

Love my ipod nano touch,podcasts,fm radio,pedometer,clock, hooked up to Bose earbuds. Clips right to my pocket.
