I've got a cool phone but the only cool thing it does is bounce down the freeway when I'm mad but it was free so what the hell, verizon keeps giving me new ones.
When you get mad, fancy bouncing it into an envelope and bouncing it my way lol

Jailbreaking doesn't change the network (O2) it just means that you can use 3rd party app's like video recording, process killing etc. Apps that apple say you cant get the device to do, (but you can) Apple want to limit useage to appstore apps, JB allows apps that apple wont even consider. 5 rows & 5 columns means more apps per screen. JB just frees the device for better apps.
Ultrasn0w unlocks the network, but like i said, I get good service from O2, so that's a 'No Need' for me

I had to go shopping before the Southampton festival last weekend, and I managed to convince myself
I needed a 3Gs when I was in the O2 store. lol
Not had an iPhone before so I cannot compare it to previous models, but it seems to cover everything
that I would want to use it for.
Battery life appears fairly good considering that I have hardly put it down yet !

Well, at this moment in time I'm about 6,000 miles from home yet I sometimes feel like I'm still there due to my slingbox. I get the family chat to my iPhone and sometimes just get the OH to let it stream video, I just log on and see my girls at play. Got it rigged to a Satcomm link. If any technohead loves to be 'home whilst away' Get one! They seem to be made for 'us who travel'

I'm also curious about how big the files are, and if there's a limit on length of filming?

Hi John,
Only had a chance to do a short video at night last weekend at
the Southampton festival. It was a prototype of a 14ft delta kite
that was made with banks of LED's that even manage to mix colours.
I did upload the original to YouTube from the phone and then done a
small edit with iMovie when I got home.

Does anybody know if this is a simple upgrade, or do you have to save all your songs, etc. I have the first version of the iPhone and when I upgraded to 2.0, it wiped out EVERYTHING (unless you coppied everything over: which turned out to be one huge headache). So is this a simple upgrade like all the other ones, or is this another one of those it-wipes-everything-out deals?
