I'm surprised at that Harrier,
the lazy sailor was sat down in his chair whilst flying his teabag most of the time![]()
Blast, it appears I might have been misunderstood, about here in Overspill Land “arse” being a corruption of house, refers to a dwelling, a “big arse” being a larger house usually guarded by white painted concrete lions and fitted with tasteful glass fibre pillars to hold up some edifice above the front door.
At Southampton the “unkindly soul” was nodding to that large concrete and glass structure towering above the trees to the south of the park when referring to Sailors “big arse”, being of a rare charitable disposition that day I replied in a positive manner, I had never seen Fawlty Towers before.
