Kites survived just fine thank you. But the checking guy did look at me a little oddly when I explained that the plastic tube contained my carbon frame. Its nice to be home, and I have lit the fire and am slowly drifting off sleep on,, th,,,,e soooofa..........snore.

A guy came up a few weeks ago asking questions about the rev. He said he was a power kite instructor and had never flown a Rev. Naturally I handed him the handles. He did great. Flew the first time like he had one. A week later I saw him coming up the beach riding on a board with wheels (I'm sure it has a proper name?)with a power kite. He came over and while we talked our kites played a little tag.

Sorry to be joining this thread late, however I have to take it right back to the initial post.
I am a little concerned that Jonesey is reporting his dreams, rather than true life. What makes me think that?
Well, I know for a fact that Jonesey never ever goes out without his iPhone, which contains a camera I believe. If he really was there, he would have taken photos, if only to prove his story in the pub!
So, a good thread, but I think he may be puling our lines.

I also sttod next to Astro out of UB 40 in a shop in the Birmingham Jewlery Quater about 20 Years ago. What he was buying for his Wife was a bit more expensive than what I was buying for mine.

Well Ballo,i got it beat my freind.I bounced years ago on a Manchester Club.Went to whats known as a Blues after working the door.A blues is a house that everyone and anyone goes to.Pays a small fee and your in.
Included in the fee was a Joint bigger than a stick of Blackpool rock,a can,special brew in them days.I slid down into a space in the hall next to a [no names]very famous red haired guy.Great solo artist.Know for his love of MUFC and the Ladys.
