we;ll we all know my favorate spot :blue-confused: laura is that the beach we will be flying at next week??

Hi Ant...
Yes, it is :kid_content: . The wind out of the west is toughest there as the beach slopes down a lot. I guess if I fly on shorter lines, 50' or less, roughly, the slope wouldn't be an issue. Any other direction, it's all good :kid_devlish: .
Would you like me to put a photo of your home turf, well sand :kid_smartass: , Ant, or do you want to post your "pride" yourself?

It might be a tiny triangle of grassy land, but we love it especially when the winds blow from the south to give the VIEW over the downs. (right Play365?).

Groz flying:

Choccy's first flight with a 100 foot tail was so much fun:

Thought I'd put in some none rev pics for a change. :kid_content:
We mostly fly revs here though.

Hi Choccy...
The lush, rolling greens are a wonderful backdrop! Nice tail :sign_kitelife: ...

The place I like to fly is a lovely park out in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. There is a stable farm to the right beyond this photo, but I love it when the horses are out on that ridge when I'm flying. It has 2 soccer fields and 2 baseball diamonds. What's nice is that if one is being used, you can go fly at the other. I think this place is called Berks Recreational Facility or somesuch, there are no signs for the place. I've been meaning to take pics, this one doesn't do it justice...

Hello Carolyn...
Cool. Looks like there's a lot of action there...that's always a good thing....

by myself?,.. I fly near my residence on one of 26 soccer fields,
Soccerplex of Germantown Maryland
the best field has a brick bathhouse & an electric outlet to power to portable sound!

The first Sunday of every month
our kite club meets on the grounds of the Washington Monument, across the street from the White House.
Great for spectators, but quite a significant hassle for security measures and the parking situation is outrageous!

Hi Paul....
I think it's amazing to fly by our National landmarks. I'll be flying Liberty State Park, soon (only 40 minutes away, I should have flown here already :confused!: )... I imagine I'll be humbled to fly with Lady Liberty as a backdrop. (I'm very proud of our great and beautiful country; what can I say? :kid_content: )
Having an outlet for tunes :blue-music: is a huge bonus. My car battery died on me as five hours of flying flew by while the radio was blasting the entire time. :kid_devlish:

The only pics I have of my place is durring winter. It is near my dad's house and there are no soccer players ;)

Flying in the snow...sounds and looks great. I'll definitely try that this winter. :kid_devlish:

I just posted this on the other location thread, but at the risk of repeating myself my local spot is the Uffington White Horse.

Great spot with great views - just a shame they have now started charging for the car park :kid_cussing:

So spacious and pretty. The view alone has a calming effect. Nice shadow of yourself. :kid_smartass:

My regular flying spot is Mission Bay Park.
Very nice well cut grassy area with plenty of room and plenty of REV fliers.
It is rarely cold and rains even more rarely.

The REVs in the foreground, they aren't mine. They are Big Ben's.
Mine are still packed in the red bag behind Big Ben's REVs.

Adding in a 360 pano and a sunset from Mission Bay Park.

Yeah - You can't really see the actual horse in that shot though.

This is what he really looks like

The view out over the vale is pretty nice too!

Liberty is my home fly area and it's pretty amazing to fly with her as a backdrop. As well you can see Ellis Island, the entry point for many peoples ancestors. But Liberty also affords an incredible view of Lower Manhattan. All of those views sometimes taken for granted by those of us who fly there often but a truly awe inspiring view nonetheless.

Gonna be there tomorrow around 10:30AM if anyone wants to join??? :kid_smartass: :kid_smartass:

Just arrived at Cape Bretton, Nova Scotia. Guess what I will be doing..............

Ummmmm lemme see.... not stuck behind a desk that's for sure. :P
It looks stunning, like a rugged Scottish coastline and dramatic scenery.
Have a great time :D

I hope you are feasting on lots of lobster and scallops.
(We treated ourselves to some Chinese style scallops after the kite festival on Sunday but I bet they weren't as nice as yours, (I wore my Cheongsam)) :)

i hope you're not wearing a kilt Scottish style! :kid_frustrated:

Very Scottish. They even have Scottish food in the restaurant. And I think I spotted a hurd of haggises on the hill side across from my room this morning.

Looks like there's a lot of action there...

Just during the annual kite festival, Laura, which is when someone took that picture. Fortunately it seems like the kite fliers come sporadically. That park is open very odd hours too, so I can't go there just any old time I please. Pluses and minuses there. Looks like I'll have to use my local football field sometimes until they close the area off for construction.

John: Coool panorama of Mission Bay! Looks like a wonderful place to fly! :D

Ant is the friend whom Groz landed his rev on :)
It's about and 1.5 hours from us so don't get to visit it that often.
