After flying on the beach for a while, my lines seem to get a little gritty (mostly from the salt).  Then when spinning, they tend to "screech" a little when rubbing together, at least after 6 or 8 spins.  Can the lines be washed?  If so, how does one do it successfully?  I would suspect the soap should be mild, but I really don't know.  Anyone have any [successful] experience with washing their lines?

Thanks, Doug
