:o :o What a sad story! To hear of something like that happening to a guy like you, and a kite like that just makes me want to :big_blowup:
That poor kite. :bye2:

Hi Ang....
Count me in. At least he knows that his Rev family is there for him. I don't know about anyone else, but my family (for the most part) doesn't get this kite thing at all. If I had a problem like this, they would roll their eyes about it. They can't comprehend me spending a dime on a kite, never mind what they really cost. I don't bother letting 'em know; it's not worth it.

I think you will find with the family spirit that is on here that someone will have to get a bigger butt, or share the stickers round a bit ;-}

Hi Ant,
I am very sad to see your kite cut into half like that, seeing the condition of it make me feel mad to see this b$$$%$^tard and takes no reponsibility. Mind my languages.
I had one bad incident to my 6' Rokkaku, my beauty 5 years ago, it was flying so nicely in the sky when one bloody remote plane circling my Rokkaku went crashing into my kite, both came down, mine was in 3 pieces while his f$%$^king plane wings torn out.
I wanted to approach him but there were 6 of them, all looked more like thugs, I was alone, better to avoid them and learnt my lesson not to fly there anymore.
My heart go to you and I am sure there will be something good to come out soon from Ben & Lolly.

Hi Antman,

Really sorry to hear this. Major hugs from the west coast. I have a suggestion. Have you called your home owners insurance? I know most have deductibles, but it might be worth a call.

THANKS FOR THE DONATION!!! And yeah, most family members don't get it (blood family members that is). That's what we're all here for though; to help each other when times are tough.

Antman man, So sorry to hear about your B. Prolly not a lot can be done to ammend for the ways of an inconsiderate jerk and his dog but fortunately for you the fine folks at Rev will likely show some support and help for you.

In the grand scheme of life though losing your B to a dog who doesn't know better and an owner that should, it kind of pales in comparison to finding out about the sudden death of a friend and coworker. That being the small tidbit that bought me off the flying field today.

Not mentioning it for the outpouring of sympathy , rather just to bring to light how fortunate we are to be able to enjoy the little things in life we enjoy so much for way too short a time.

"Goes to show, you don't never know, watch each card you play and play 'em slow"

A one of a kind kite was destroyed, and can be replaced ANT, life is short and can't be replaced, JUST Remembered, for all enjoy the small things and each other, until it is close to home we all take for granted, so to the man and his dog (NOT RESPONSIBLE) he'll get his for not owning up!
For you ANT, good things will come back, good luck will happen, look how lucky you were to get the kite, so it will happen. Keep the faith, and remember.

Well on our way to an iQuad sticker bikini for next year's Rev Games!

WOW! Thanks for the donation. And I already have a special bikini in the works. You'll LOVE it! But you're right, it wouldn't be complete without an iQuad stick :)

"An IQUAD stick" implies just one. I think we are way beyond that now. :kid_smartass:

I think Antman ought to send the kite back and have another half made for it (a different color). Then have it re-attached in the middle with something that looks like a Frankenstein scar.

Thanks to Aerochic for her donation. It's great to see us all come together to help a heart-broken guy out. This is GREAT!!! Antman is going to be so stoked. Now let's just hope that Ben can actually replace his mid-vent.
