Last Winter I was doing the preparation for a Blue Moon Kites Ichiban workshop at my Mum's place, as she has a huge dining room table, perfect for laying out a lot of fabric.

The only trouble was she has three Siamese cats that were fascinated by the rustling fabric. I couldn't lock them in a spare room, as they'd yowl in three part harmony, so I kept a water squirter beside the Pfaff, to discourage their curiosity.

Funny I thought he carried the whole team

With a regular sized team its not so much of a problem, but as The Flying Squad is now so big and famous, well by its very nature we have peopl wanting to fly with us, and also natural losses of flyers form the team, so it makes sense that one person holds the kites for the team.

In Portugal we are just starting to fly revolution. HE have the honour and a privilege of flying with one of the best teams.

and to finish - the clear drink was a soft drink, very ligth....

Hi Choccy, I can answer that.

We feel it may be pushing the limits if we as a team keep adding in our kites, also IMHO no one "owns" the team kites, they are for the team. The team is not just a Rev team, so we dont always fly them together. We fly single, two & four line kites (and three line when available, its been a while )

I think you will see one or two of The Flying Squad adding to there numbers, for example I am a rev flyer & I bought a matching pair - cos they look sooooo nice, oh and I for many years loved Barry's (never did get round to calling him Bazzer) work, and it combines two things I really like. (cant count then yet as they are not in my hot sweaty hands yet )

Now if only Rev will get a Janneke Groen or Rob Brasington master series - that would be VERY cool...

I've just noticed these twisted revs, "Rev weave on black" come in 11 colour options !

(a bit like the rok design, and the genki, and the gem....and my fav. the twisted noodle).

That's true these kites are based on Bazzer's Twister series and you can get your own one from the usual source. That said, I think we have unique colour choices for the team. We saw the design and we just had to have them. Maybe next on the list will be matching Genkis, Rokkakus.... now, where is my lottery ticket?

oh yes, and they flew sweet. That little extra weight in the sail makes for a very steady kite and very forgiving in the bumpy Bedfordshire breeze.

I wouldn't have believed a panel layout could have had such an effect on the way a kite handles.

It's difficult for me to follow a discussion in english and I'm sorry if I can tell something wrong.
But I understand that you need help to make a very vented revolution ??
I am not a specialist, in reality, and I think it's difficult to imagine if a vented panel is good placed or not.
