Hello FernanI love the design, congratulations to The Flying Squad, the new cometas.El team Bolau, we also want to create a new design, based on the Black White and Red colors maybe with some support gris.

apologies to Stephen and The Flying Squad, for not coming down this weekend to see the unveiling of your splendid new team kites.
I do hope the wind wasn't zero for the whole of the kite festival for you!
Hope to see you at the next one...
Hi to Choccy and the rest of the THe Flying Squad fan club, dont worry you will still be able to see them next weekend at Basingstoke Hampshire, usually a good turn out of The Flying Squad, and great commentary and music too

As a fan of all those teams.... is the Basingstoke Festival at the same site as in 'which year was it?'

Its looking pretty dire for next weekend wind wise too. But I am a great believer in the imposibility of forecasting the weather in the UK for more than 2 days except in exceptional circumstances.I do hope the wind wasn't zero for the whole of the kite festival for you!
Not sure if in 'which year was it' was it in the same place as it is this year (Oh hell, my grammar is really taking a hammering with that phrase!)As a fan of all those teams.... is the Basingstoke Festival at the same site as in 'which year was it?'

Is it due to be zero or a gale?

It has been at the same venue for at least the last 2 years.
Have you ever flown at this event?

Usually the weather here is one of two extremes:
1. Hot and sunny, no wind or weird thermals from the surrounding trees.
2. Cold, grey and peeing down with rain all day.
Let's hope for most of 1. but good wind too!
You'll be lucky to find any space to actually fly in, outside of the arena. Maybe we should try for an end-of-day scratch megateam now everyone has 120 foot lines ;-)
BTW I flew my new purple B-series today in 2mph wind at Dunstable Downs... very nice, especially with the 2-wrap rods in!!!!

Felix: the festival is at the Down Grange sports complex. (South west side of town, M3 Junction 7).
It has been at the same venue for at least the last 2 years.
Have you ever flown at this event?
Yes, we were there one year. It is on the record as we found a team flier there.
