Thanks for this link - do we have to have a whip round to get rid of the "evaluation version" message?

fun
It is becoming a bit of a habit, but only because it is habitually appropriate, but I would like to thank Stephen for his ever-helpful tips and encouragement. Top Banana that Hoath chappy you know. Great also to meet Jade and to say hello to David E. You will all be pleased to hear David's injury is much better although not totally gone, and his kiting skills have now progressed to the level where he is able to fly without training wheels (quad sticks)

Anyway, Felix came along today and with Dave Ellison and 10 from The Flying Squad we managed to make some serious progress into "The Grid". The good news is that it will be an unqualified success, the bad news is that we now have to come up with some more figures that look good when flown in the grid. Many thanks to those of you who gave me their thoughts on the system.
The mass fly at the end was great. With the 12 people above we also had Stone in Shoe Bob, Jay, Gee (from Wales boyo) and our very own Force 3 (Sailor 99, Choccy & Groz). Force 3 had been flying pretty much all day and all that air time paid off with some great flying in a difficult part of the window. The other 3 were flying in a mass fly for the first time and just kept flying. Each time I upped the difficulty of the figure they upped their flying. So a big WELL DONE to those 6
Oh and the wind....... a nice gentle Dunstable wind (18 gusting 25 mph) full of holes. Imagine roller skating on pebbles.
Only 33 more sleeps until Porstmouth!

Thanks Stephen. I would like to add my thanks to everyone who took part in this very positive incremental step on the grid thing and the mega team fly.
In the Decs we have a saying, 'just do it', and it was evident today that this is not a totally unrealistic notion!
'You did it'!
