We have all got the bug right now for flying rev team with as many people as possible.  As such, this Sunday we are getting together to do some flying.  We will either be on Seal Beach or Belmont Shores, CA.

So far we have 5 or 6 of us and will be flying 1.5's on 120 feet lines.

If anyone is interested in joining us for a spot of fun!!  Do let me know and we will get oursleves organized.  All are welcome.

Will update you on exactly when and where by Friday.

Thanks,

Mark Lummas

Mark, do you and Jeanette plan on competing as a multiline pairs at BASKL events this coming year?

If so, you'll want to let Tracy know so the event can be added.

Also curious if you'll have a full team competing... That would make 2 with iQuad, and possibly two more starting up on the east coast too.

Hi John,

To be honest, I suspect not.  We would love to compete again, but with 2 kids, we can only go to events where it is not too expensive to get there.  Whilst we will drive all the way up to the Bay Area for Berkeley or San Ramon, coming up more regularly for the BASKL events gets too costly.

If we can ever get some comps going down this way, then definitely, as we still have the buzz for competing and really miss it.

Thanks,

Mark.

Sorry to hear it, but I understand. ;)

I'd like to come down to SoCal and help breathe some life into those guys... Used be strong down there, when the SoCal Sport Kite League was around, before it imploded.

(thanks Larry and Neil)

OK, we have made a final decision on location for the fly on Sunday.  It will on the beach at Belmont Shore, CA.  You can mapquest to the city.  In terms of our actual location, I have placed a map with it highlighted in red at:
http://home.earthlin...lummas/map.html

We will be getting there by about 10:30-11, having a picnic lunch and generally flying/hanging out.

See ya there.

Mark.
