Sunday 24th September will be the Seal Beach Kite Festival in Southern CA.  Team Too Much Fun will be there and looking for willing "victims" to fly with!!  Would be great to get a Rev Mega team up, so anyone interested, do let me know.

Thanks,

Mark

Yep, same here... Sorry we're going to miss it.

I'll have to make Seal Beach one of these years!

Sorry to hear you guys won't be there.  It looks like we will have another 3 or 4 pilots to add to our team, so hopefully we can get at least 8 in the air.

Hopefully next time we can hook up.

Have fun.

Mark.

Hi John,

Seal Beach was a blast, with beautiful weather and kites everywhere.  The arena was only 130 feet across by 160 wide, so it made it interesting for getting many kites in there.

As a team, we were kept busy just about all day and as such didn't get time to think about mega teaming until days end and with everyone packing up, we did not get the chance that we had wanted.

However, we were all dissapointed and all went to diner to discuss when we would be doing a mega team.

We have 2 opportunities already set up.  We intend to do one at the San Diego Kite Club New Years Day event and also we will be doing one at Kite Party 2007, which I hope you guys will be here for.

In addition, I will be setting another thread in motion in a moment as we are going to have an informal get together this weekend to do some Rev team flying too.

Will get you any photos soon.

Thanks,

Mark.

I don't think Kite Party is very likely for iQuad...

1) There isn't a whole lot of room to fly.
2) It's an expensive trip for us.

We should rock the house at Berkeley though. ;)

Sorry to hear that you won't be there.  I can understand the cost issue.  However, they are hoping to move the event down the beach in 2007 and space should not be an issue.

Anyway, we will get to some more festivals next year (hopefully berkeley and will get to fly together)

Thanks,

Mark
