Sail pressure and movement...

Just cruising YouTube, and came across this video of me in Argentina...
http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=iEzcWlpmZOY
Wind was probably a variable 3-6 mph, guessing 3 wrap in a masterpiece (non-vented) sail.
Reason I'm posting it is to provoke discussion about the "load and go" technique used...
Also, when we add a little slack into the line to complete a stop.
One of the cornerstones to iQuad technique is leaning away from the kite, or giving a pull towards us as we prepare for or initiate any movement with the kite... Check it out, talk amongst yourselves, share what you find (or have found)!

I know it's a bit of a drone to watch a body flying for that long, but I thought ya'll might find some additional perspective with that angle.
FYI, they're not my videos... Just something I found on the web.

I was doing the same thing as Ant, trying to figure out what the kite was doing by watching the hands. Kind of cool.
I'll have to work on the step forward and back. I was trying it some today (works great for a fast dive stop in relatively low winds).
Who took the videos? Reminds me of some of Bob Guccione's work (the blurred lenses that is).

So there you go. Don't need split screen.
Just play them alongside each other.
There is a idea John. Don't edit the training video into windows.
Send out 3 or 4 "views"
Get loads of PC's and place the screens together fot a real time panoramic view.
I have 3 PC's here so would be willing to be a trial viewer for you?

Just got to figure out why my electric bill is so high???
For what its worth John, Mrs Jones thought that was the best kite video I had 'subjected' her to and wondered if you had anymore like that? .. perhaps the swim wear version?? EEEK!

This looks promising - You guys will let me know when I need to buy a hat won't you
Interesting videos. I certainly don't power up the kite like that before moves. Will give it a try next time I am out.
