I am looking forward to meeting iQuad fliers at this event and discussing plans for later in the year.

From my tentative contacts with the Japanese teams there may be interest in putting a grid formation mega-team together.

I would love to be there to see your mega team display.

Not to mention to see the spectacular cherry blossom and beautiful maple trees.

I hope someone can take some pictures.

Best of luck

Felix

sure, most cherry trees blossom in Februaryin UK.
So probably even earlier in Japan due to its warmer climate.
Depends on the sub-species.
We currently have a cherry tree which is just about to blossom in our garden.

I meant in general it would be lovely to visit Japan, see the blossom on the plum and cherry trees.
Take in some traditional Japanese tea ceremony... soak up the tranquility of a zen garden.

View some traditional Japanese kites too.

I ride to and from work on a bicycle. (12 miles a day)

My mortgage is paid off this year. (September I think)

I drive a car that was given to me with less than 30,000 miles on the clock. (It hit 36,000 coming back from Berck)

Counting Felix, iQuad and all those folks, we ought to be able to top 50+ Revs, no problem!

The 48 kite mega fly we did in Tokyo last October was very successful, with very few tangles, sorted very quickly. :)

Hi all,

Well, the boys have come a long way in the past year and a half... from untangling lines and kites to teaching so many to enjoy and fly team. And who knew that day at AKA in the pouring down rain.. that a goofy suggestion from a couple of us girls.. * Hey you guys should go right outside the windows of the restaurant so we can stay dry and warm and have a drink.. hahahaah * ..

And in the pouring rain, like ducks in a pond, they knocked the socks off everyone sitting all warm and dry inside, including some very special guests from Japan.

To all of you that are now packing and repacking a hundred times, and getting ready to take a trip of a lifetime to fly in a country rich in history and beauty, I wish you a fantastic trip. I hope it is one full of awe and goosebumps... and moments there is are no words to describe them...

Be safe, we are all here wishing you the best..

love ,
Mousie.

and .. Monks.. I am really proud of you.. xxxxx
