I've been flying the Blast for about two years now, and it seems to get more time than any of my other Revs. After some initial concern over the pull, I'm comfortable now flying it in winds up to 20mph and have occassionaly flown in higher winds. When I first started with it, I liked the 8-10mph range. But, now it seems somewhat boring at those speeds and I'm wondering if I'd be happier with a 2->4 for lower wind. So, I'd like to know what others think of the 2->4. I don't have any immediate plans for buggying or land boarding with it. I'm just looking for something more interesting for winds below 10mph. Is anyone with a 2->4 going to be at Ocean City, MD for Sunfest this month? I'd love to give one a try.
Thanks.

dave youll find that kite to be a hard puller but an eazy flier as you can kill the power at a flick of the wrist much diffrent then the power foils it will drag you on the beach or grass in a wind renge of 3 to 10 mph as for the sunfest ill wiil hopefully be there nice to see someone close to my area
GOD PUT ME HERE. TO ENJOY THE WINDS

I have the Blast, 2-4 and the 4-8. Each kite is awesome by themselves and different enough from each other to make them all worth the purchase. The 2-4 will fly a lot better in the lower winds but will be very floaty. When the winds pick up a little the power is awesome. The 2-4 has a lot more power than the Blast does. As mentioned in the above post you can dump the power out of the kite instantly by dropping the brake lines out. It will take you a little bit to get use to the larger kite but I think once you get it figured out you will love it.
As you mentioned that you were getting a little bored with the Blast in certain winds, I thought I would mention the Supersonic or Shockwave. They dont have quite the power output as the Blast or 2-4 but are just awesome to fly and will keep you on your toes. The speed and quickness of these two kites are totally mind blowing. The Shockwave will have some pretty impressive power, a bit more than the Sonic so if you are leaning towards more power with more excitement then the Shockwave may be just the ticket for you.
Downside on the Sonic or Shockwave is that (for me) they seem to work best in winds 10mph and up. Less than that and they seem to lose some of their excitement.
If you get the chance then fly all of them, that is the only true way you will find what you like. For an honest try-fly, you really need to spend about a half hour on each before making up your mind. It takes me at least 10 minutes to adjust my flying when switching from one model to the next, especially going from a standard Rev to the speed series.
OR, you can just purchase them all......if you fly one you will want it anyways so save yourself the drama of trying to decide which one and just get them all now!
(It's a mind soothing thing!)
