Well I don't know yet but I hope it's a custom 1.5 with 3- wrap because that's what I just ordered.

Been thinking about my favourite Rev.

I have come to the conclusion that it is whichever one, with whichever rods I am flying at the time.

All my Revs put a big smile on my face.

Must admit I was a bit worried on Sunday though, flying my 20th in gusty winds, the LE turned into a S shape for a few seconds. Thought I was going to have to get some new Race rods. All was well though.

I am thinking my next purchase will be a Mid vent B with a set or Race rods in it.

The Mid-Vent with Race Rods is my favourite, but any of them are more fun when I'm flying with other Rev fliers!

i would have to agree with steve b as to which rev is fast becoming my favorite for all around preformance
my mid -vent is the one i gravitate to most of the time now it can be flown in quite light winds all be it with some work and strong technique .... ballisticn winds 15 to 17 mph like yesterday i was flying with a 2 wrap and a 3 wrap double leading edge . ....... all my kites have been the b series except for the exp i started on
all 3....... full sail ....mid vent and full sail with a full compliment of different rodsand line lengths make flying in any condtion possible and sooooo much fun

Although I am new to Rev's - I really like the stabilty of the vented B-Series w/race rods given the proper wind. I would like to try the mid-vent for a comparision.

You obviously have taste and distinction! And in the right winds the mid-vent is even better!

Have you guys not got one then? I wouldn't be without my mid-vent you know. Nor indeed my various sets of race rods. Have you got any of those Choc?

Jeremy is definitely right ... Mid-vent with race frame is the sweet spot....

Oh and Choccy, I was thinking of using a few of my spare race frames for my runner beans what do you think? `Is that what you do?

Yeah - I would love to try a mid vent - unfortunately they don't come in my color combo - yet. I talked to Lolly and she said she would let me know. I bet that is the perfect setup for me - given the right wind. I don't really care for a lot of pull on the handles and I bet the mid vent would really be sweet. As my skill progresses - I'm sure that will be the next kite to make my bag truely complete.

Any thoughts out there on how a mid-vent "Eyes" Rev flyes ????? Do they even make a mid vent in the "Eyes" style ?????

well now that i have the b solid and b midvent i have a new favorate.. but keep in mind that the 1.5 is my old skool grow up kite and i still fly them alot

Hi All...
I love my B mid vent with RR... but, in lighter winds, I absolutely go for my 1.5 SUL with RR. That baby has probably more hours on it than all my other Revs combined. Even when the wind picks up, it's perfect! I haven't flown my Standard B much to compare it to the SUL...I'll give my feedback maybe tomorrow night if the winds are right during the day .

I have a vented eyes which pretty much equates to a mid-vent in terms of the amount of venting... but I also have a Mid-vent B... they are definitely not the same animal and I tend to treat the B as my work horse ..... as with the other B's its the kite of choice if I'm flying with other rev flyers, doing a bit of 'beginners' team etc I'm fairly new to this kite (as most of us are I guess) but I would suspect it will become a must have its so precise and smooth ..... pretty much does what you would expect and fills the gap between the standard and vented... takes out all that twitchiness of a standard up range but still has the area to cope in the lulls.

IMHO the eyes is slightly heavier and the venting marginally less efficient, however any slight 'deficiency' is more then compensated by the smile it puts on your face and the satisfaction you get from flying a seriously awesome example of Bazzers skills... I treat this as my special occasion kite .. or at least that was the plan but its hard to leave in the bag!

Easy answer ......buy one of each

It's a toss up between my b std and b mid vent, tho the mid vent is super smooth.

I have two midvents now. 'Scrappy' my home made style mid with a trangular vent towards the top outside of each sail is simply fantastic. I would say he pretty much has all the power of a full sail but much smoother. And he keeps that smooth no-twitch characteristic right up to 18mph or so with 4wraps in (even in about 20mph with 2x3wrap he is pretty cool as I was forced to find out the other day). My b midvent is even smoother but it is at the expense of a little power. But with RR it is sweet down to about 5 mph.

Which reminds me that I haven't named him. Any good suggestions for a green mid given to you by iQuad?
