Had a couple of messages, sounds like they had a blast, oh and a few 1.5's too
It was hot. I need another dose of after-sun lotion....

Pasty English men should not be allowed to wear shorts and sandles without putting on lots of extra sun cream! We are now call The Flying Lobsters. Still our Spanish friends were very understanding and didn't laugh at us too much.
As for the flying, what a great weekend. There were 20 revs in the mega team and as many other individual rev pilots busking around. The Spanish rev teams (Imagina and Bolau) have certainly been practicing and were doing an outstanding job. The Spanish teams are right up there with the best in Europe and it was an honour and a pleasure to fly with them. We had some fun trying to translate and create moves at the same time, but all in all it was great.
One other tip, if you are ever at a Spanish festival and at the banquet some one offers you a drink out of an unlabled plastic bottle.......SAY NO..... it will taste great at the time but it makes breakfast a little difficult the next day (oh and lunch too!)

If I remember rightly we had that game played on us before with a South African speciality bottle wrapped in barbed wire!
Would have thought lessons would be learned huh!
LOL
Glad you had a good time.

Yes, as Stephen says, it was a GREAT FESTIVAL. Good wind (which is very rare lately..) and a lot of great people to share the sky with.
It was even particularly special for us, Nati & me because it was our first Festival as participants
Stephen is very polite with us. It was really a honor for us to fly with so experienced pilots The Decorators, The Flying Squad, Imagina (and I'll include here my Team colleagues
We are very lucky because we'll meet again in a couple of events shortly, and we'll be able to improve the routine.
They all were very patient with us, trying to understand the english calls (we were nearly ready for the US calls, now we'll learn both
Cheers
