Good luck Lou, return home safe, but while you are there, you may be able to spread the joy of kiting, which in turn should spread peace, and that is what the whole world needs. Peace through kiting.

I'm Steve's sister... Sherri's sister-in-law... so that makes Lou my nephew. :blushing: hmmmmmmm never realized that before. Anyway...
First and most importantly, I want to say THANK YOU to all the men and women serving in our military. Their job is to fight for our freedom.. not an easy task. They defend our country with honor, courage and determination. Thank you for your service , your commitment, and your bravery.
Lou, we are all very proud of you! Be careful, Stay safe and God bless you! See you when you get back!
Love Ya!

I just want to thank everybody for leaving a little something. I'll be gone for seven months and as soon as I get back I'll be geared up and ready to fly again. I tried to bring a Rev with me but the command just wouldn't see it through. I'll keep everyone updated on my status and maybe throw a couple pictures up while I'm at it. Thank you all so much for the support.

Don't forget that some paper, thin wood or bamboo sticks and some string is enough to build a simple single line kite wherever you are.
Take good care!
