It's a lot harder to fly one-handed for picture taking than the Vented B-Series.The Rev 1 colors look pretty good considering how much it has faded.
You need wrists like Ray Bethell to fly it in one hand.

He sure made a mess of the lines and managed to get away. The lines were broken in several places.
Also saw an eagle chase a friends kite. Luckily he lawn darted the kite and the eagle left the area.
Have watched two dogs fighting and get tangled in Rev lines. Not a good scene. Dog owners got a good scolding for that.

Spent a wonderful few hours kiting with friends this afternoon and grabbed this special moment not realising I had captured the ancient White Horse, the oldest of the white horses in England in the background

choccy's newbe is in fact Purkle, and in case it is is not obvious she is purple in colour (the kite that is!). There are some photos on Choccy's personal site.

Thanks for pointing the Gallery out, Choccy! I'd completely missed it. I'm very envious of your scenery- the White Horse is something that I'd love to see in person.
News to me

You are welcome. (Thanks to JB for putting this easy to use gallery on this forum, which I have enjoyed using over on "Kitelife").Thanks for pointing the Gallery out, Choccy! I'd completely missed it. I'm very envious of your scenery- the White Horse is something that I'd love to see in person.
Your Canadian scenery is just as stunning, if not more so with bays and mountains...
we are all blessed in some small ways... it's just appreciating it that counts
This area is not on our doorstop, and with the current economic climate we cherish these rare moments to travel.

Me too, loved the books and the TV series, but I think the film kind of missed the point, with 21st century special effects you are forced to take it all way too seriously.Love original Marvin.
