On my last trip I was in a park and a little squirrel come up to check out our new B-REV's

I'll get some pics of the animals that share my flying field as soon as the rain stops. Canada Geese are very common (and leave ample evidence on the grass) at one field, but the other beach has Bald Eagles, Grey Herons and Sea Lions.
I had a juvenile Bald Eagle cruise very close to my Rev II stack a few weeks ago, but I had my hands too full to pull my camera out and get a photo.

I had to combine 2 photos with PhotoShop to make this pic as I never managed to get my gloves off, get my camera ready and get the kite in position in time to get both the Bald Eagle and my Vented B-Series in the frame.
I also saw a mink feeding by the seashore and followed him to his den in rock wall:

The picture with the eagle is stunning Steve, simply stunning. The snow, the mountains, the eagle and the kite soaring. That's my desktop background changed, again!
Mink were introduced into the UK by accident. They are causing very real wildlife problems here and, in someways unfortunately, attempts are being made to eradicate them. Yet another good example of Man's stupidity I am afraid.

That's a great trick
Is it a bit scary flying near the eagles ?
Minky is so cute.
I'll keep an eye out for some hedgehogs to fly with (once they awaken).

Don't be daft Choccy - hedgehogs can't fly. Unless when you're throwing them, you get the angle just right then the wind seems to get under them. You really have to hurl them hard though and you can pull your shoulder muscles if you're not careful (they're heavier than they look, y'know).

Of course Fraser, after you have thrown them, if you give a sharp tug on their top lines they float back to you and you can catch them.

I saw a Great Blue Heron stalking his lunch at the seashore this afternoon.
It was rain mixed with snow this afternoon, so I flew Trevor, one of my older Revs, as my B-Series are still new to me.
I also spotted a Harbour Seal watching Trevor fly from quite a distance out. Unfortunately my pocket camera's zoom is only 3x, so he's just a tiny dot in the middle of the water.
